Default Swapping A H23 with a H22, Is this Engine Suitable ?

Hi,

I have a H22a going into a 1993 Prelude Si H23a1.

Now that I am close to the conversion I got a few Qs , I found a really cheap engines but a lot of the hoses and wiring is cut u know, would all my H23a1 hose/wirings just plug in except the 2 new wires (VTEC Pressure/VTEC Solenoid) just fit onto the Engine or would i Have to buy new hoses and wirings ??

Will the current A/C in the H23 work with the H22a ? coz H22a doesnt have A/C,
Anyone has a JDM H22a ECU ? I live in Australia.

Thanks

Do more of a basic search like "H22 swap" so it broadens your search. Your search topic is to narrow.

just answer his question...

Yes, the h23 wiring harness will be fine.... Yes, just add those two wires... easy to run to the ECU and easy to find with a cut harness...

OK... Now, all your hoses will transfer fine... Your A/C.. do not disconnect it.. Just ubolt it from the bracket and pull it off to the side.. This way you can Reuse it and not have to recharge it afterwards...

and of course they happen to be '04s.

buy the motor if its cheap. it's hard to find secondhand motors with all the hoses and wires intact. and JDM P13 ECUs are readily available. just search
