i saw these yellow headlights on ebay. i have already searched this and i found that many people got tickets for having these. But these say that they are 100% legal and they are DOT approved. will i get ticket. and if i were to show the cop that they were DOT approved would i get away with it?

I never got any ticket's while i had mine in, But then again you do live in CA where the cop's are real *******'s.

 

In CA they are illegal. Just because someone selling them says there legal doesn't make it so.

 

you print out the article where it says all that and keep it with you then you might be able to get a warning first

if you would have looked at the picture of the box in the link it shows that it says DOT approved. I would not believe it if someone said it and even though it says it on the box , i am still kinda not sure. but maybe i will do what civictildeath said and print out the page just in case

 

i know in NJ and for the most part yellow headlights are legal. White and/or yellow is legal

 

I just ordered a set for myself. Yellow supposedly makes seeing at night better.

thats what everyone says so they not only look cool but they actually serve a purpose but i just hate CA cops and their "i hate honda's cause they are just as fast as my v8 with half the cylinders so i will give them a ticket for anything"
