Default welding costs?

Hey, I am getting my kteller exhaust in the mail tommarow and my muffler and I was wondering how much should I expect to pay to have the muffler welded on? I figure if some of you guys could tell me how much it cost you so i can know if a certain shop is giving me a decent price estimate. thanks

If all you need is a muffler welded onto the end pipe of the exhaust, that a $20 thing. If you need sopprt hangers welded on, cutting, mounting, etc it'll cost around $40-$80.

If you can be very specific about what exactly you need done, it'll be easier to estimate.

i was thinking about a kteller exhaust with a header and a cat as well . i am deciding between flanges or welded straight through . but i guess it would be cheaper to straight weld everything . i want to weld the header - cat - pipe - resonator - pipe - muffler . how much should i expect to pay from a muffler shop ?

my current setup is also like this and i need it taken off as well . how much do you think they would charge to take it all off so i can install my new setup ? if it is too expensive, i was thinking about using a hacksaw to cut the pipe off since i dont have the money to buy a bandsaw/sawzall or anything like that . but i think it would be more trouble as it is since i would need to get under the car while hacking at it and i think it would take awhile because ive never cut stainless steel before . what do you guys think ?
