Ive been in the market for a used accord (98-02) and was was wondering was the difference between LX, EX, and SE were. any info would be appreciated. thank you.

i have an LX and my girlfriend has an EX. her EX has leather interior, cd changer/cassette radio, power windows, power door locks, power seats, power sunroof and alloy wheels. my LX has all the above EXCEPT: no cd changer/cassette radio(i just had a cd player), no power seats, no sunroof, no leather interior, and no alloy wheels(i have hubcaps and steelies)... im not too sure of the SE, all i kno is that the SE comes with special 15" rims... i kno cuz i have them on my car

Damn man, stfu. Questions like that DONT get you banned. Its easy to figure out, but that doesnt justify your response.

Its the colors for a 99 EX, i checked and both EX and LX are the same.

I have a 2000 EX and a 2000 LX.

I think (not certain) EX has ABS standard and side airbags are available as an option.

EX has CD standard in 2k; LX has only cassette. Easy to upgrade the LX for $50 oem CD from EBay.

EX has fake wood trim in console area and all 4 interior door handle pockets; LX has all black.

EX has 4 wheel disc brakes; LX has front disc/rear drum.

EX has leather steering wheel and leather auto shift selector ****.

Note: these are differences I noted in my 2 cars, both purchased used. I don't know which of these differences were standard EX/LX differences, and which may have been added as options...

 

Ex Alloy rims, Sun roof top of the line
LX NO Alloy rims, Sun roof 3rd
SE Alloy rims Sun roof 2nd to best
DX Alloy rims, Sun roof, no power lock, non vtec 4th

These are general observations, not to be true with all cars bc ppl can order a sun roof with an LX correct me if i'm wrong. LX has no style if you ask me.

94-97 accords were more diverse

EX got Vtec, Alloy rims, Sun roof, and double tipped muffler, power locks and windows
SE Non vtec, Alloy rims, Sun roof, single outlet muffler, power locks and windows
LX non vtec, single non tipped muffler
DX No power locks and windows, no rims no sun roof, no vtec, lightest one.

I think Lx and dx had smaller rims

All that other special **** like wooden trimmings and leather is extra money.

If I was gonna buy a new car I'd look for a 01 prelude sh, accords very good cars but,are mad common.
