Default Stock or Aftermarket for Minimal Exhaust Noise?

I have a '90 HF, and my muffler just fell off.

I would like to get the quietest exhaust Possible (I My Car is not performance oriented, it is geared for Audio [It is COMPLETELY deadened; Liquid Deadener, 80mil Deadening Mats, Neoprene Foam, and 1/8" Mass Loaded Vinyl]).

I found the RSR Exmag, and I was wondering:
Is this Performance, and quiet
or
Quiet, which can be performance?
Basically, is this the quietest performance exhaust, or the quietest exhaut?

I'm not sure if the High pricetag is justified, as there will be no other performance upgrades, but if it will actually last a long time (Read: Not Rust), I think it would be a decent idea.

It isn't that loud of one, but then again, I enjoy it's note. Try hks if you want to be a baller and be quiet. 2" piping keeps stuff quiet, but they're a) $$, and b) not SS

Yeah, it's hard to beat the stock exhaust for quiet...problem is finding one. Most used ones are in some form of decay/rust. New OEM is ridiculous expensive. Just the muffler and pipes are $300+.
A HF doesn't need more then a 2" exhaust....that's bigger then the throttle body

I'd look find a new, complete 2.0" stainless system and add a few sound killers. Or have one built to your spec at a local muffler shop.
1. A resonator between the cat and the muffler
2. A resonated tip
3. An insert like *LINK*
4. A high quality muffler with three chambers...only two gets buzzy

That's about as quiet as you can get it.

Heh...stupid Summit site. look at the url...it says exhaust and insert. Go figure.
Try it now. If it still won't link properly, Go to Summit's site and look up Car Chemistry Exhaust Inserts.
I had a buzzy Mazdaspeed Protege exhaust it quieted down enough to be tolerable. And they claim it doesn't hurt flow like the tail pipe inserts for the cheap bullet style mufflers have a tendency to do.
