nice knock coming from under 2nd plug wire.... cant even push plug wire on all the way. any ideas... im hoping I just need a valve adjustment? maybe could just be a plug?

 

I don't see how a knocking noise inside the motor would prevent you from clipping your plug wire on the plug. Have you removed / inspected the plug? Is it damaged in any way? A bad valve adjustment sounds more like a louder tapping rather than a knock.

 

the other wires snap on and off with ease... where the noise is coming from it wont snap all the way on.

 

simple fix..... wow im happy. loose plug. there was even some oil on the plug wire. can someone explain to me why it was knocking when it was loose? just curious on the technical stuff... what exactly was the noise? thanks

 

it wasnt knocking it was probably vibrating since the plug wire wasnt connected properly.

 

If the plug was that loose it was the sound of air....compression
