Maybe it's the same as the B18C1 header. Not sure. Euro/AUS ITRs have different headers.

Cool, thanks. Are stock US ITR headers of a 2-piece design? I believe Au-spec headers are 2-piece. Cheers!

Why are our headers different and how so?

If you don't mind me asking.

USDM is also 2 piece. I think only the upper part (primaries) is different. I don't know why they are different. Maybe for more power. I will take some pictures of the Euro header soon when I installed my DC header.....

The JDM DC2 if I'm not mistaken is a 1 piece 4-1 header and the au-spec DC2 is a 2-piece header. I am also not certain about the tubing configuration of the au-spec DC2. Perhaps the JDM, US, Au headers are all different in design from each other. Input needed.

Excellent and I'm about to fit a 2 piece aftermarket header to replace my current stock header. Phew, it's a good thing to know that I wasn't about to replace a 1-piece stock header with a 2-piece aftermarket one. Cheers!

Why not putting a 1-piece aftermarket JDM 4-1 header on it?

Actually you can put 4-2-1, 4-1, 1 piece, or 2 piece.... doesn't matter as long the header is made for your car.

I want a more aftermarket appeal, besides the aftermarket header that I have waiting for me at the moment is a very new product; 5Zigen 2-piece 4-2-1 so I'm hoping the new technology works. hehe.

I was thinking more in the sense of friction losses which degrade performance. Theoretically there would be more friction losses in a 2-piece header where the join is compared with a 1-piece header of the same size. Cheers!
