Is it a good idea to buy a new CD Deck, but leave the stock speakers? I have a '94 Honda Civic... yeah the one without the CD Player. I want to replace the tape deck with something newer (w/ CD Capabilities), but I really don't want to spend money on a new set of speakers, especially since the car is 10-11 years old. Would it work, and how bad would the sound quality be?

 

it would work fine. just don't expect the sound quality to be vastly better than with the stock deck.
