Which exhaust to get, greddy evo or sp??
i currently have an apexi ws on my car (98 gsr) and would like to replace it with an exhaust that is a little bit louder. i was wondering if you guys can give me some input on these exhaust any good or bad things about them. thanks

if you want loud get a tanabe racing medallion, the greddy evo has a nice deep sound but if you dont want the "canister" style look the greddy sp is really nice but not too loud

I herd that the greddy sp resonator hangs low and scrapes a lot, is this true?
are you sure that the sp is as loud as the ws? because the ws on my car is really really quiet. just a little louder than stock. you can't even really hear it above my aem usually.
i've never personally heard the WS exhaust, but if i remember correctly, some people said the sound is comparable.....once i got an intake, the sound of the intake would take over but the exhaust was still audible
Sp is as quiet as the Apexi Ws exhaust and I think the Greedy Evo exhuast are AWESOME. They are a little loud but not too loud and they sound great. You cant go wrong with the Greedy Evo. Looks GREAT TOO!
evo isn't for everyone, but then again neither is the SP. I have had my SP for about a year now and i like it alot. I can see where the resonator may hang too low of you have a lowered car but im at stock ride hight. However, the evo, is designed with lowered cars in mind if i recall correctly. IF you want a loud one or a fairly loud one the SP is not the one to get. Its stock volume at idle. When rolling its almost unnoticeable but once on the gas hard its got a great sound i my oppinion. Again, not everone like that sound. Some advice, go to a local cruse location, listen to cars, ask questions. Reguardless of weather you get the evo or the SP you cant really go wrong with the Greddy quality. Good luck.
well i was thinking of something that made some noise but not so loud like n1. i guess i'm looking for something that is about as loud as my friends trd exhaust on his celica gt, don't know how many of you have herd one, but yeah.
You'd love the Comptech... quality and tone is exceptional... but...
I've got the SP now with NO cat and it sounds great. I love it. The ONLY thing I don't like is the bling bling when riding behind my car. Headlight it, street light it.... it's quite noticeable. It's quieter than the EVO, but sounds great when you get on the gas. I've only heard the EVO on a Prelude and it sounded ricey. Don't know about an Integra.
I didnt get the EVO b/c I like the design of the SP... I didn't want a canister. GReddy is good quality, but I wouldn't say it compares to the Comptech.

DC i would have to say my favorite but not very load, i had it on my last GSR.
I currently have Greddy Evo and a friend has SP(both GSR's)
They both sound great but if you want it loader, it's the EVO, just more throaty and raw where the SP is more of a smooth purr like the DC but loader.
I like my evo, it's the only one that i have installed myself. it has a good tone, and it doesn't drone too much on the highway.
best exhaust i heard is mugen... quiet at cruise and idle, but floor it and it screams with a clean agressive tone.
i haven't heard DC Sports... I know the design is a copy of the mugen, but does it sound like it at all or what? DC Sports sound clip anyone?
Greddy EVO is a great sounding and legally loud exhaust, so its relatvely quiet. However, I feel the sound is a bit on the ricey side... same with 5Zigen... its just a really common sound now. (since they are some of the most popular exhausts)

dc sports is fxckin whack.
dont be a dick. let people think what they want.

The SP is awesome - I actually think it's a little loud (especially if you have a short-ram intake), but it's definitely not as loud as the N1 or RM. The sound is deep and smooth... if you get I/H, it's becomes more throaty, but still deep. Very mellow. I've had mine for about 3 years now and no problems. There have been problems with Greddy's rusting out, but I haven't had any (driving through east cost cold and wet weather) and last I heard, Greddy's offering a 3 year warranty on their exhausts.
Of course, DC Sports exhausts have also had problems... they sometimes fall apart at the welds. But in terms of durability, I would say the DC Sports exhaust is better.
Ultimately though, it doesn't matter all that much which exhaust you choose.

I love my DC, its very deep. Only gets loud when you step on it.
