WHAT ECU BRING MY B16A2???

Are you asking what kind of ecu your car uses?

The 99-00 si came with the p2t ecu which is obd2b.

I still have a p2t virgin ecu sitting in my room.

 

My car is a 97

 

So, is a OBD2A???

 

I think theres an obda del sol vtec.. you could run that ecu or maybe an obd2 a gsr ecu( dont know how your car would run) or get a jumper harness and run an obd1 ecu ( many different choices)

 

what year is your engine?

96-97 B16A2's (Del Sol VTEC) are OBD2A

99-00 B16A2's (Civic Si) are OBD2B

 

what about the b16a?
is it the same as the b16a2?

b16a = JDM 89-2000 (it also shows up in some non-us markets)
b16a2 = USDM 97-00 (some other contries may have the same engine)
b16a3 = USDM 94-95 (see not above)

 

how can you tell if the b16a2 is from a del sol or the 99-00 si??
