all pr3's have led light?
My buddy has what appears to be a pr3 ecu...but it doesnt have the red led indicator light on it? I took the casings off and didnt see it anywhere.
I have never seen a pr3 without one, have you??

yep
Thats exactly what i was thinking, thanks.
They claimed the car was obd1 but then i saw the pr3. but it had no light, and the dizzy looked weird as well as the harness was newer. Must be the whole harness , swap, and everything out of a xsi..?

Yea i know, thats why i was like no way at first
It also has a p30 chip in it
So ... to keep this going. The reason for all this is, i'm trying to find the jumper on the car to check what code its throwing. Didnt see it up by reservoir or under the glove box. Looks like a whole new harness is swapped in here.

I can help. 1st off, yes, you have the obd1 ecu and engine setup found in jdm 1992-93 Integra models. There aren't a lot of them, but they are out there, i have 2 or 3 myself right now. Just so people know, the obd1 PR3 is pretty much the same thing as a P30.
As far as running a jumper, made up a thread about that a few months ago. If its going into a 1988-89 model, you run the jumper on a small yellow plug found on the drivers side underneth the hood.
If its a 1990-91 model, you find this plug under the drivers side of the dash. The engine light on the dash will blink to provide the codes.
Hope that helps.

1984? Damn, you got me.......
You have to pretend its a p30 ecu and find out the wire connections of all the ecu pins and do some research to see which need to be crossed and figure out some way to get a reading. You probably have to rig something up. If i were you, i'd run a specific new led some up on your dash once you figure out how to wire it.
