Default MSD plug wires

What are you guys opinions on msd plug wires. Those who have ran them have you had any problems? Would i just be better off getting factory plug wires or ngk's instead.

I have the MSD ones and haven't had any problem at all, in fact I didn't even know there was a rumor about them.

I doubt you'll have problems with them. MSD is a quality name, and they make quality products. I run OBX 10.5 mm triple core wires, and they've been working fine for me, just in case you are looking for an alternative. I actually think they made my idle smoother, or it could just be the crack

the msd's don't stay on the distributor too well. you either have to zip-tie them or open up the connectors so the will grip better. other then that no major problems... but stock or ngk wires is what i'd recommend also.

I use them to, and I’ve noticed that they don’t stay on that good but they never have come off since I got them a year ago. Hey if you like them get them. There well made and perform well.

Well, as aries stated, they wouldn't stay attached at the distributor very well until I opened the terminal a little. Now they seem fine.

I don't know how you guys plug-in your wires to the distributor. I've never had a problem with my MSD wires. When you plug them in to the distributor you should hear each one make a nice click sound otherwise they're not installed correctly. Unless there's something wrong with the distributor itself internally.

unless your making over 400+ hp there is absolutely no need for them. It's a waste of money when the stock ones work just as well.

I would get some stock Honda OEM Plug wires if i were you.

I use nology hotwires on my h22 drag car and they work good too. expensive but, quality isn't cheap.
