This is the setup I am using for the upcoming 2002 season. Later this season if money allows it I want to upgrade my suspension with a set of Zeal B2 coil-overs and a Spoon rear tie bar.

I am looking for some feed-back of my current and future mods as well as ANY suggestions that will improve my car in any way.

Alignment (max camber, caster if adjustable, toe out front (1/16-1/8th inch)
tires (falken, bfg KD's)
seat time
evolution schools (http://www.autocross.com/evolution)
Possibly a good header (DC Sports?)

The B16A2 is an engine that has to rev high to work - add a header and tune your mods with a VAFC to maximize high rpm power on a dyno.

On a STS car, the speed gained on course will be through driving, suspension, and tires - not HP. A set of zeal race valved coil-overs will work well, but anything over a 400-500# spring setup wont work too well for a relatively low speed course, such as an autoX - the tires will skate over the pavement. Ask about them in the ITR forum here, or do a search. Another option is to get a set of koni's, have them revalved and install stiffer springs with the GC setup.

Tires will help alot, i'll have the chance to try out the falken's on a friend's car once he orders them up next week. BFG KD's are great, as are Bridgestone S02/S03. Mount on stock wheels now - or grab a set of lightweight 16x7's to mount them on (rotas, ssr, volk, racing hart).

Also, a set of carbotech kelate metallic brake pads on the front of the car will help as well - those stop very well.

Another high-dollar suspension option you might want to consider is DMS. I'm not positive if they make a setup for your car, but I'm pretty sure they do make one for the DC2. The DMS Golds might be a good option without being overly ridiculous about the price. They are around $1700 for my car. Richard West runs the DMS 50s on his Impreza, and that car seems to do exceptionally well on bumpy surfaces, though that setup might be substantial overkill, and for a non-rally application, the DMS Golds might be very good as well. Send me an IM if you would like me to look into that more.

DMS has applications for civics. Overheard a conversation today about them. I think one guy said he was quoted $1900 for the 50mm ones.

Actually I have been thinking about an APEX'i 4-2-1 GT header for better low end response. Thks for your input. im going to look into those brake pads.
