$2 ITB bellmouths!!!
check it out- i just got an inspiration for something to use to make bellmouths for an ITB project- get ready for this--- EGGCUPS!
Most bellmouths are gonna cost you around $40 at any performance shop, i found these eggcups for $2/ea at wal-mart. heres what they look like:

all you have to do for a great bellmouth is grind away the bottom part with a dremel or whatever, and voila! $2 perfect bellmouth.
top chopped off-

even more practical uses- installed on an airbox for better flow w/o heat soak.

technically those really wont do anything... its a cool idea... but, when people make bellmouths for ITBs, they actually put a lot of math, and thought into it... theyre computer engineered... the dont just use any random bend in the metal... granted sure, iguess for a couple bucks its better than nothing, but the bellmouths are expensive for a reason...
i know thats true, but for an average joe like me who wants to get into a budget project and not end up spending thousands of wasted dollars on his car, this is a quick and easy fix. a way to look cool and rich without actually being that cool or rich (isn't that what modifying cars are all about? not being able to afford AUTHENTIC fast cars?

Wow I never knew that. I always thought bellmouths were expensive but never knew why. Who knows maybe the walmart bowl was computer engineered as well.

i'd venture to guess it was most likely engineered for a purpose other than for use in the automotive field though. like for poaching eggs maybe.
