Default A question for S2000 owners.

If you accidently press the engine button during the car in motion, will it shut down the engine?

So, if I accidently press the engine button when the car is in motion, it won't shut the engine off?

How do you turn the engine off? Do you have to be in complete stop?

I think you mean the start button.

- no it doesn't shut the engine off. it will try to start the running motor again, causing the starter to make clicking noises.
- to shut off the car, you turn off the key, just like any other car.

Ive pushed it twice by accident before, it just trys to restart the car. Same as if you had a key and tried to turn it again after its on.

same as in a car without the start button and you move the key clockwise to crank, the start button will crank and does nothing, makes a very harsh sound though

I don't understand how or why it would shut the engine down... what is your thought process on that one?
