Need help with my full Coilover install
Okay I just got home and am installing my full Tanabe Coilovers. I started with the rear driver side. After taking off the stock OEM shock assembly I laid it next to my Tanabe one. I noticed the Tanabe one was about 2 inches shorter. I didn't think much of it at the time so I continued. I placed the Tanabe coilover in place and put placed the 2 14mm nuts on top of the strut to hold it in place. After pushing up the LCA and bolting in the fork of the coilover I noticed now my endlink to my rear sway bar doesnt fit any more. What do I do. I am lost now
Do you have the car up in the air? If you do you can't put the swaybar back on with it like that, the rear wheels have to be supporting the weight of the car.
the hole on the lca where the endlink bolts up to is about 2 inches higher then the hole on the endlink. Right now it is in the air. So when I drop the car back down it will line up again?
it doesnt even come close to lining up. All four coilovers are on now and it doesnt line up at all. Any DC owners out there put full coilovers on their cars? Where the struts shorter then stock ones. Also, if so...could you still use your rear strutbar? Any pics?
