1988 Prelude Si 2.0 Manuel spin no start any info
Has Fire to coil no fire out of coil coil is good distributor is good any help would be appriciated. tested crank sensor with ohm meter it is in specs timing belt is new and it is still in perfect time. I am thinking it may be my ECU out is there anything else I should check first.
Check to make sure the gas is being pumped into the engine.
I've seen an 1994 Prelude crank and not start because there was no gas being fed to it, the main fuel relay is usually the problem. They fail often on older cars, I've had to replace it on my 90 Civic, so the year is almost the same.

well the main relay is not kicking on the fuel system but I replaced it only to still have the same problem. it seems the side of the relay that is sappose to recive a ground signal from the computer once it gets RPM signal from the crank sensor is actually showing close to battery voltage. this would be the green wire with a black strip on the main relay that runs to the ECU. It seems the voltage is actually coming from the main relay itself beings I disconnected the green wire with black strip and it shows voltage once the key is on. now if I take a ground that wire the fuel pump kicks on and car will start.
The fuel gauge, Temp gauge, Tach, or A/C is not working either. could all this be from one problem somewhere in the system. I changed the ECU out with one that I got off of Ebay that the seller claims was off a running car they parted out so unless I was sold a bad ECU that is doing exactly what mine was doing the ECU is ok.
