Default DA clutch cable v.s HF clutch cable on a B-series motor with cable tranny. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

ok guys im just finally getting my car back together after replacing the pedal assembly. Also i bought a new clutch cable. I have a b18c1 motor with a b16 ys1 tranny. i use to have the stock 90 HF crx clutch cable on my car and it worked great. My friend tells me by using a DA 90-93 integra clutch cable on my b16a tranny It will make my clutch wear faster. Is this true????? personally i dont think it would. After installing the DA clutch cable on my tranny it feels different like it's hard to push the pedal at first but when you get half way pushed in it gets easyer the rest of the way to the floor. I'm use to the stock 90 hf clutch cable on my b16a tranny where it was hard to push all the way through all the way to the floor. Also i have a act street oganic disc with heavy duty preassure plate. What clutch cable should I be using on my cable b-series tranny in 90 HF crx?? please let me know. Thanks

theoretically, it wouldnt make any difference, if the cable's are in the same condition (brand new Honda OE ones).

NEVER buy a cable from auto-zone, pepboys, etc.

always buy honda ones. they are that much better, i promise. i could barely drive my car with an autozone cable. it stretched every time i would push the clutch down (clutchmasters stage 1 disc, stage 3 plate). i would have to keep tightening it. threw a brand new honda OE one in (cost about 15 bucks more) and havent had a single problem in about 20,000 miles.

you can run a honda oe cable for a crx and it will be totally fine.
