I was told if you have a obd1 if you turn the ignition 2 times the check engine light will blink a certain amount of times to show you the problem code is this true and is it really done like that

 

you have to connect the jumper on the pass. footwell. it is the 2 wire one in the green rubber sheath tucked under the dash closest to the door. us a paperclip.

1long=10
1short=1

IE 4 long 3 short =43...

more than one and there is a space. youll see what i mean

hey, i have a 91 crx si and my whole harness was messed around with. anyway, the only plug i found free was a blue/purple one with a green and brown wire. do i jump that one? dont mean to jack the post or anything

 

I know mine is blue - is it a two pin connector? Just try jumping it - you can use a paper clip or a wire that you twisted at the ends....
