More details please? any check engine lights, maybe it's a faulty ground? Maybe it's fuel filter. maybe it's cam timing? Maybe it's you. Nah just joking.

hmm, my 91GS was doing something similar for a while.
at idle it jumped from like 700-1200 and putted a bit..

still not sure what was wrong, i cleaned out the throttle body
it kinda just went away.

could a misfire or a bad piston be the cause?

pull your spark plugs, and check them out. See how they look in comparison to each other. Also making sure their gaped properly will help

Good start.

Could be a lot of things; electrical problem, fuel problem etc.

In case yhou don't get an immediate response/solution? Start by getting a list of potential probs and eliminate them one at a time.

already started. Its not fuel cause I put a fresh tank of gas with fuel treatment. Imma pull the plugs see if one of them is shot to hell. Next ill take a look at my intake and the butterfly valve, see if its sticking. If nothing helps, im just gonna set fire to the car and to hell with it. LoL
