after seeing the results of the header test, that seems like the most bang for your buck.

The DC JDM is a good header for the price payed, be it, i would rather use a SMS,or hytech, but for some just not in their budgets

so If you dont have anything constuctive to say, dont post

THE DC is hella lighter than the OE piece.
Some prefer the OEM one because it's more durable, blah blah..

DC has a way cleaner flange, ports and collector.
For the money, it can't be beat.

If I lived in a snowy climate, I would get a durable coating on it because the SS one has mild flanges, and they can rust.

i would stick with ss just because it looks prettier imo i think ss is more durable then ceramic coating.

from what i can tell, i could purchase 2 ceramic coated dc sports headers for the price of 1 honda jdm. at that price, i could just replace the dc sport when it eventually rusted or was bent by highway debris. i'm loathe to put anything from dc sports on my car, but the results were clear from the header test.

would it matter if you got the regular one opposed to the one with the 2.5' collector?

If you are going to Hot Coat it, I'd get the SS, because it's more durable, I think, and it will be just as rustproof, if not more so, after the coating.

I think the one with the 2.5 collector will just give you more air flow, which is good, but it might (I'm not sure) force you to buy a cat too.

You might want to look into the Type One also

Are you sure the flanges are mild steel. They look SS to me. Isn't the complete header made of SS?
