vafc cel #?

i have a 97ek w/a b16 w/an obd2-1 jumperharness w/a chipped p28, when i engage vtec in 5th gear i get a cel, but when i turn the car off and back on the cel goes away anyone know how i can check the cel # to know whats wrong or anyone know why its throwin that cel?

why does what you said have nothing to do with what i asked?
and it doesent mean i was going over 100mph i set vtec to engage at 4500 and w/a b16 80-85mph=4500rpm.

you can still check to see what cel you threw as long as you didn't reset the battery. The ecu will keep it stored. So just jump the service connector and count your flashes of the cel light. I used to get a cel light all the time for a knock sensor but the cel never stayed on after turning the car off. It would only come on after i get passed a certain rpm, but once i turn off hte car the cel goes away then comes back when i past the certain rpm. But i was still able to pull the code from the ecu.

oh really?! thnx but i just disconected the battery so ima have to wait till it pops up again. another thing is that it only started happening after i installed the vafc
