Default Pic Request: 17" wheels with H&R sport springs (did search found nothing)

I would like to know how this looks. I want to buy 17 in wheels, and im not sure what kind yet. I am hoping that the car does not have any wheels gap. If anybody has some pics with this setup please post. Thanks in advance HT, I will include an image of my car now with the stock setup.

As you can see I have about 1/2 inch gap still that I want to elimenate.

17's are huge on DC2s plus you are loosing performance in both going straight and turns.

15s or 16s are best.

17s arent too big for an R

******* autocrossing geeks

blah blah 15's 16's

as long as they are light, and not ricey, you can easily put a 17 on an R

i have an issue of sport compact car with a turbo R, all stock exterior except optional kit and comptech coilovers and he's riding on

18 x 7.5 volk SE37A and the car looks amazing

depends on the rim, nothing wrong with 17's

spoon uses a 17 inch buddy club on some dc2's
the dc5 wheels are 17s and look great on dc2s

the bigger the wheels get the worse the existing wheel gap will look. If you go with 17's lower a bit more.

The rim design also has a lot to do with how big the rim may look, thin spokes that extend right to the edge of the rim make a wheel look bigger than fatter spokes. People regularly think my 17" wheels are only 16s and say they look very small for a 17" rim.

That is not entirely true. With bigger rims you get better traction in corners because the low profile sidewalls are much harder and they bulge out/in less in corners.

Tho with wider rims, you do lose a little in steering response/precision.

here's my ITR on two different sets of 17's.

This set my car had no drop, stock height.

This set my car has Tein S-tech springs which only lower MAYBE 1.5" at most...car could use about .5" more drop and it'd be perfect, but that's why i'm getting coilovers this summer.

I like them.

17" wheels are too big for integras. it makes them look like hot wheels cars.
