as title says what head gasket is best for the sohc zc? replacing it tommaorw and needa know what to get! i know its jus like the a6 but i rather have people flame me telling me im right. thanks alot!

 

Same as a usdm 1.6L SI engine D16.

 

I have a sohc ZC and I used the OEM headgasket from the 92-95 civic ex motor. It's full metal and a little thinner ( i think two ply). It bumped up my compression a bit and its good to know that it wont leak on me. been using it for about a year and that **** still runs strong as ****!!

 

Or you can use the D16Y8 head gasket to bump up the compression even more Anyways, for stock usage use the D16A6, the motors are the same.
