I have a JDM front end conversion on my DC2R, I know that I can fit the USDM rebar into the JDM OEM front bumper with some modification. I just curious is there any other JDM front bumper will allow me to fit the USDM rebar in without any modification? Mugen DC2R bumper or C-west bumper? Any advise?

Really? I've been around for quite a few years, haven't heard this specific question at all to be honest. Do you have the answer since you obviously know there is one?...

he is asking if the usdm bar would fit behind a mugen front or cwest front. since having done this myself. i am leaning towards no due to the fact that you had to cut 2 parts of the jdm front bumper (cut triangular pieces out). I know the mugen front well and it will prob require some major cutting which will hurt the look of that front. i am not sure about the cwest cause i cannot picture it in my head right now. hope that helps

 

I have the Mugen front on my teg with a K-swap, still using the USDM bumper beam. I didn't have to cut anything on the bumper cover. However, the bodyshop that fitted the OEM JDM bumper cover did trim the lower corners of the bumper beam so the cover would fit properly.

I doubt, however, the beam would have contacted the Mugen front had the beam not been trimmed.
