Default H22 civic NOx help

I have a 94 jdm h22 with a dc header and a USDM p13 high flow cat. I have 92 cdm vx .
so i went to get my bar sticker and i go to do the sniffer and well look. i passed HC's and CO's but NOX is another STORY
MAX GP MEAS
807 2014 2667 15MPH
746 1814 1024 25MPH
My egr must not be lifting to let exhaust in I think. i need help.
IS THERE A SHOP OR PERSON HERE THAT I CAN PAY TO HELP.

It was brought to my attention that high NOx is caused by high combustion chamber temp. You could lower it by retarding timing or using a little higher octane fuel.

ya the smog guy said that to. guess i will have to buy a fluidyne then.
i have always used 91 octane
