Default Unhooking door wiring harness

I removed the speaker from the door to have access to the wiring harness connect on the inside of the door. Is there any trick to unhooking it? If I just keep tugging at it will it "let go"?

It's a clip. Wouldn't keep "tugging" if I were you.

So just find where to press down and then pull gently?

if you look hard you can see it.
if you have small hands you can reach it and push em out.

I'm not sure I understand, it is like a bigger version of the same plastic connectors that hook to the power window controls?

yes I am, more specifically disconnecting it from inside the door- the part at the very front of the door- by reaching through the speaker hole opening

There are little prongs/tabs that hold it in place. squeeze them and it will pop out or just push up on one and it'll come out. If you can't get it, get a flathead screwdriver

remove this first the speaker wire clip. then stick your hand in there and push it out. there will be 2 tabs holding it in there it should be orange in color you should be able to see it

I still don't think we are on the same sheet of music, what I'm spekaing of is if you removed the speaker and reached in left (on a passenger side door) to the plastic connectior with all the wires routed through it. If I could take a pic it would be probably be worthless anyways because it's about 8 inches in the door in the dark.

with the door open from the inside of the car but on the outer shell of the door you have to have a flat screw drive and kinda pry up on the bottom of the clip.. theres a little lip there that wont allow it to break free... when your prying reach your hand inside the door and gently tug on the harness
