Yes, the ATS counter shaft is a different size outer diameter so the USDM 1st does not fit. The kit come with everything you neeed.

Asspenny,
Did you ever get the final drive installed this weekend?

Yes, very long story... FD went in fine no problem... but other un-related problems arose. Needless to say I'll have a new short block installed shortly

Spun a rod bearing. Was not even on it when it happened. Very weird/unusual problem. Just so happened the same time we did the FD. We got about 20 miles on the ATS, then it just started making a taping noise. Needless to say the tranny came off a few more times. I am now a professional tranny remover

Did you do a Flywheel too, if so which one?

My FD is on my livingroom floor. I'm waiting for the Toda wheel and install is slated for February 26th.

Care to share a quick review of the new FD? Did you even get to have any fun before the unfortunate incident?

A.

No we did not do that. But Matt (D) put rod on the motor and listened to it and he says it is super loud on #1. We pulled the valve cover to check and see if maybe the belt jumped a tooth, but that was still fine. I mean we did just about everything besides pull the motor to see if we could figure it out. I'll give you a call in the morning Mike. I've already got the day off on Tuesday so I'm going to cruise out there and have your guys check it out. Jason (Typer98) and I have had such bad luck down here at these dealers that we would rather just bring it up to your guys. I've got a truck to tow it so no biggy. I'm always up for a road trip, just not my favorite kind

Needless to say, today was not one of the happier days. Damn cars, spent all night looking through the helms and trying to figure out what the hell it could be. None of us had a clue, we were all scratching our heads.
