gsr aem cai question
i bought an aem cai off of a guy today that pulled it off of a 2001 gsr.
when i got it home and checked on the AEM website to make sure it was the correct part number, i realized that it noted it was for a 1994-2001 NON-vtec motor.
how the heck did this guy have this on his car and will it be a problem putting on my 1998 gsr??
thanks for your help in advance!!

I wonder if it has something to do with the breather hose coming off the valve cover? On the AEM CAI, is there a tube/nipple coming out of the pipe before the throttle body end?

GS-R and non-GS-R AEM CAI's are very different in shape. One is made for the non-VTEC throttle body which is in the normal location, while the other is for the GS-R intake manifold throttle body which is way down low. The Type R CAI is the same as the non-VTEC CAI just larger diameter.
