Full size truck in comparable shape. What I really want is a early 90's F-150 with the 300 Straight 6 and a 5 speed.
Couple people interested, but its still fair game

Will this pass a compression test? How was the engine broken in? I take it, it has an OBD jumper to OBD-1? Will I be able to ride home on a p28? Thanks man. Im very very interested.

To be honest with you, I have never checked the compression. I broke it in very gently. The car has yet to go over 5k, and the new motor has never been raced, or driven hard. I changed the oil and filter 30 minutes after I started it the first time, then at 250 miles, 500 miles, 1000 miles, and if I still have it I will change it at 2000 miles.
To be honest with you, other than the rare stop light to stop light pull the car has never been raced since i bought it in 1997.
It has a skunk 2 conversion harness. It runs right now(drove it to work today), it just idles rough, runs rich, and the check engine light stays on. You could drive it home as it is right now.

you could find out for sure by lookin at what code its pulling..if thats the code, thats the fix... and then you should get a 20 dollar compression tester and get some numbers, no one wants a built motor without compression numbers or they are dumb. Get a camera, do the test, take a photo of each cylinder on the gauge, you will sell the car much faster if someone knows the motor is healthy, HELL i'm in FL and I would come get it if the motor was in good shape and I new what CEL code it was throwing. Good luck

good deal, wish u were in cali id be allover it </TD></TR></TABLE>
I really have no reason to charge more. I am not looking to get back what I have in it, and I know if I priced it higher it would just sit in my driveway . I just came up with what I thought was a fair price.

Leaving late to pick up the new car = Stressful
Doing 90+ in a 14 year old RT4WD wagon while the drive shaft rattles your teeth loose = Fun
The sound of a 4-1 exhaust = Pure bliss
Having your wife follow you from picking up the new car and her hitting a deer on the way home = Priceless

I'm just happy that we all (except the deer (and the wagon)) made it home A-OK
