im outside right now and left my dad working on my car.we have gotton to taking off my axles but now that the passenger side axle is free. I tried pulling it through the strut and it doesnt fit through almost like the boot on the other side of the axle is bigger than the opening of the strut.need opionions on how to remove the axle.

Because it is. Take out the 17mm bolt and nut on the wishbone(bottom of the strut that goes to the lower control arm) pull the bolt out and slide it foward and to the side the axel will come out

 

remove the 14mm bolt on the top of the wishbone as well.
