Stoopid distributor question...

Default Stoopid distributor question...

I can figure out this wiring easily, but the only thing puzzling me is this.... Lets use the cyl sensor for example. You have CYL-P, and you have CYL-M, wich one of these is the ground, and wich one is the signal wire? I have searched (maybe not thourough enough), and had 2 OEM service manuals in front of me trying to figure this out. The OBD2 manual says wich is wich, but the OBD 0 does not, And i need to know both...

OK, let me ask it differently... If the polarity of the CKP, CYL, and TDC sensors is reversed is it going to code?

I believe the polarity does matter.
