I have a dc 4-1 header and a RSR Ex-mag exhaust (97 Ls)

should I buy a larger diameter cat? ir should i go for a direct fit?

what are reputable retaliers online that carry carsound cats?

i have a comptech 4-2-1 header and greddy sp exhaust, i ended up getting a 2.25" carsound cat, part# 93505. i got it thru SMS Products (David/SMSP). he did the flanges and everything. hes great, great work, very nice guy...and i know i bugged the crap outta him! his phone# is 540-287-6384. he has a webpage too, http://www.sms-products.com, but it doesn't seem to be working right now. just call and talk to him, he'll help you figures out exactly what you need. i tried calling magnaflow direct and they were a bunch of jerks and were trying to sell me the wrong cat so whatever you do, dont call magnaflow! you may want to also read this.
