99 Accord w/ FMAX Kit w/ DSM 450's - E-Manage
I have a '99 Accord w/ FMAX kit but modified w/ DSM 450's instead of the 2 extra injectors they include. I called Greddy to talk to them and 3 days later they still have not called back even though I called them each day to remind them to call me. Someone I spoke to there briefly who wasn't a tech said that the Accord, since it has 240cc injectors stock, can only idle/handle 370cc injectors max with the E-Manage. He said it will not be able to handle the 450's and I have to downsize. Is this true?
I just noticed that you are from branford CT I live in new haven CT but work for Branford High School. yo get back to me when you get a chance
This is too funny if you are affiliated with Excelerate Performance. I used to work right in the River Run business park lol. It used to be a gym called Flip Zone in unit 8.
i could see why........detonation maybe? IMHO, i'd say stay away from the hack.
AEM EMS is a very nice plug and play setup, had my car running pretty damn good! almost everything is litterally plug and play.
bout the emanage, sorry, i dont know **** about em, but i can tell u the AEM EMS rules

I think you missed what I was saying. I was in no way promoting the HACK method. Just that the stock ECU and the V-AFC can run and idle 450 injectors. Maybe not stock idle, but it will idle.
As for the e-manage, not sure why. One would think you could do atleast what a V-AFC could do.

Yea, I am located in River Run Business Park in Unit 5. Unit 8 is part of APG, a body shop. Stop by sometime.
To the other members, I have to call Greddy again to find out for sure. I'll post the results.

From my understanding, the E-Manage doesn't have as large of a range of fuel adjustment as the VAFC or SAFC does. Whereas the VAFC can go to -45 or -49% (something like that), the E-Manage can only go to around -30%.
But like I said, that's just my understanding of it... I haven't had experience with either one.

I don't know anything about greddy e-manage but I did a search and it seems like some people are using injectors larger than 450cc with it. Shodan mention he's used 660cc injectors in the first link below, and some guy is making over 300 hp on emanage in the 2nd link.
