Default CIVIC ESI PROJECT?

HELLO EVREYONE :8)

im looking forowd into my next project.
im looking for civic esi coupe or the HB version.
now i want to turbocharged it.
i understand that i need to get the vtec engine 125 bhp..
can i do the same on the 1.4 vesrion?
or the engine is not strong enough like the vtec?
im talking about the 92-95 version of civics...!

I don't think too many people around here are going to be too familiar with the 1.4 liter motor.

you want to stay single cam or dual cam?? single cam would be the USDM d16z6, and dual cam(or b-series I would presume you dont want to mess with the H or K series) would be the USDM b18b....those are some good black to boost, you would have to upgrade internals on the d16z6 after you reached a certain boost level, like anything over 10, you would need forged inteernals to run safely....and yeah...I have never heard of a 1.4 liter civic

pretty much any car that ends in Si, GSR, Type R or integra ls or gs. but low low boost is key on older D series motors, dont expect to be pushing anything much more than 10 psi TOPS, and even at ten it wount last long

so good mpfi D series
Pretty much any B series
and K series too

but the key is good tuneing, tuneing and some more tuneing

but a 1.4 liter motor sounds ecno to me so i wouldent trust it
