Default Break In Clutch

maybe i wasnt looking hard enough when i was searching, but..

whats the most proper way to break in your clutch (get the most miles in the future out of it)

i heard you drive under 3k rpms for about 1k miles, and that should be sufficient.. is that true?

Thats what I did to break it in. Shifting every 3k sucks, but gets the clutch broken in without burning it out.

ACT suggests not shifting while over 4500 rpms for the first 400-500 miles

what kind of disc do you have a street or puck disk?

pucks require no break in
street disc require 500 miles before tearing it up
