So i finally registered my car last night, it's a 94 civic cx with b18b and GSR hydro tranny....

Everything seemed fine until it popped out of 5th gear by itself a few times...

Any reason it would do this, or anyway to fix this easily?? If not i'll just have to push the shifter forward since that works fine

check your tranny fluid

 

how would that effect it popping out of only 1 gear?

 

5th gear is furthest away from the tranny fluid or something along the lines of that. its more than likely low

Plain and simple..your 5th gear synchros' are going bad!!!!! get it changed!!

 

happened to a friend of mine with his Si transmission.

turns out his axles weren't the proper ones, leaked his MTF out, and he destroyed his differential.

please just check your MTF.. ive seen this happen numerous times.. if it looks low you gotta figure out where its leaking from.. usually axle seals or a improperly installed axle.

and DONT hold the shifter forward youre doing more harm then good.
