Default new here, got a delsol, wown't start

hey yall. just bought a sol. it's a 94 si. so the car wown't start. there's no spark to the plug wires or at the output of the distributor, i bought a used one from a running engine, and the same thing. engine just keeps trying to crank.

i tested the connector with 2 wires on it to the distributor, i get 12 at the fat one (black/yellow i think). but the connector with multi wires, no power to any of the wires. is this a prob?

all fuses are tested good.

so how to i check if the coil in the distributor is any good? or what should i do.

if theres no fuel pump test or CEL light come on at ON key, the ECU is either not connected properly or bad ECU. swap any obd1 ECU and try to start it.

hummm...i just peaked down where the ecu is, and wala, no it's there. but i see tape on alot of the wires. i'm gonna take it all apart and trypulling a dist and ecu from a running car, and see if all the wires are connected right.

jus ran into the same prob wit my 93 sol, i put a 98 D16 in my sol an couldnt get it started, same problems, check the ground wire running with the dist. after that then check the main relay under the dash in the fuse box, what i ended up doing was replacing all the main relays an fuses an tried starting it an it would start an i punched the fuse bo after alot of fustrtion an tried starting it again it fired right up.
