I have done a search about this particular topic, but still curious. I'm intending to use Aircraft-Strip paint remover on the rims. The rims came with a factory gray finish but the previous owner decided to paint them black; I've been through paint thinner but that didn't help much. I believe my Shu-4's weren't clear coated factory(correct me if I'm wrong.) So if I spray the Aircraft Stripper on the black paint, How well would it turn out? Pictures would help as well. Thanks guys.

 

It would strip everything off. You would probably need to either clear coat or powder coat after using the Aircraft-Strip paint remover.
