NSX Brake upgrade for ITR?
Has anyone done this upgrade on their ITR's? It may be a useless upgrade or a waste of time, but I thought I had seen someone do it before. I was wondering what was required. Calipers, rotors, etc. I did a search and did'nt find anything at all. Thanks for looking.
Edit: searched archives and found a little about GSR swaps not ITR swaps.

wow, never thought of that.... sounds like you may have stumbled upon a great idea... let us know how it works out

Well most of what I've found has been for a GSR. A few years ago I had a 95 Civic coupe w/B18 swap. It also had a big brake swap that consisted of Prelude rotors and TL calipers (I think). They were awesome, and half the cost of a brand name bolt on, plus you've got OEM parts.
No way! Hahahaha. The answer was right in front of my face this whole time! JONY B, good work bro. The Type R brakes are good, but I never thought about NSX brakes on my car. I wonder what that would involve? Is it just the rotors, clappers, pads...or all three items?
If you find out JONY B, post your search results here. Thanks in advance.
Aloha,
Brandon

Might wanna try searching using the term "NSX" instead - you'll be shocked at the results

I did. NSX brake swap, NSX brakes, NSX swap. Everything that came up was for NSX/GSR. Not that much ITR stuff. I did'nt search anything for GSR!!!
Select "Integra Type-R" forum and type nsx caliper in the search box.

well since you look like you dont/cant search worth a damn.
ill help you out.
91-96 nsx bolts on. need to use stock or legend rotors. pads can be reused.
97+ you still can use the cailper but cant use the cailper bracket under 15in wheels.
reuse stock bracket with nsx cailpers. (thank Rodney for this).

Hmm, anyone know of the newer NA2 NSX-R calipers, rotors, etc. will fit? I keep noticing that Best Motoring drivers comment that the NSX-R brakes better than even the Porsche GT3 with it's PCCB-carbon ceramic brakes.

Thanks for the help, but comments like that really aren't needed. Evidently you did not read the first of this thread
