crank sensor on obd1 ecu??

crank sensor on obd1 ecu??
do obd1 ecus look for the crank sensor (ckf? the plug that comes from behind the crank pulley) that is on obd2 motors? my motor has the wires cut but im running an obd1 ecu so i was wondering if im gonna need that

I HAVE THAT DAMN CODE AND CANT GO OVER 3500RPM and i am running obd1 what coud this be?
