Is it possible to hook up a amp to a Stock head unit?
Yeah Superflea, you're right!!!
You can get the PAC hi/lo converter and hook it to your amp via RCA, or just simple, get an amp with "hi" or speaker level inputs.

Matt(nfn), The R's doing good. Dissapointed in my runs at the track but.... Vegeta, I know that should be enough, but when I'm in bumper to bumper traffic everyday, I cant hear vtec
I am only beefing up a pair of 6x9's, No subs or anything. Ryan

yes you can just need an amp that allows for high input or a converter to run rca's.
I wouldn't do it. I did it when I was in high school with no money. When I finally got a real setup with RCA cables, the difference was night and day.

Please do not ruin your interior by cutting in 6x9s. It will look like poo and won't sound that good anyway... When you go see a live concert, where are the musicians? Right in front of you.
