Default What if there not a Dealer?

I was looking into buying a kenwood amp and maybe a HU from etronics.com becuase they have pretty good prices and are in the city so i could go drive and pick up the stuff.

But when I called them and asked if they were a Kenwood dealer they said no. So what does this mean? Are they trying to sell me refurbished stuff or what? They said that all of there stuff comes in original packaging and its the same as if you buy it in any other store. So basicly what should I look out for?

Teken is the man with that in depth answer! Basically, they are not an authorized dealer.
