Default Launching?

Okay, when attempting to race, what is the correct way to launch. You know what I mean. What RPM's would be best to launch at and stuff, is there a technique to this? It can't be just slamming my foot and the gas and dropping the clutch.

Default Re: Launching? (Veil_Side_)

Depends on the tires you are running. the amount of power you have, the surface you are launching on, the air pressure in the tires, the air temperature (this effects power and grip) the clutch you have (can it withstand extended periods of being slipped, can it hold up to the abuse of dropping it).

The only way to know for sure is to practice, practice, practice. Ideally with a timer, though the butt dyno isn't so bad.
