Hey guys,

I replaced my valve cover gaskets and spark plug gaskets because the plugs and wires were covered in oil and causing alota of studder to the motor under acceleration and at idle.

I cleaned out all the oil out of the wells, and replaced the plugs and wires with new ones. There are no cel's at the moment.

I still have a slight misfire at idle, and when the cars in gear and i let off the gas and let the car decelerate it kinda jerks like its missfiring.

Also i dont know if this has anything to do with it, but when i push my cluch in and put the car into neurtal the rpms stay between 1500-2000 untill i come to a stop then they drop back down to idle but if the cars moving at all it idles very high. It makes no sense its like idle is set on weather or not the spedometer is reading even 1 mph

what? maybe I am missing something... you changed what to help what.

nevermind, anyways... are you getting a cel?

 

I'm not sure I understand either......you cleaned out what ? Check all hose and ground connections ? Double check plugs, plugwires and the correct distributor contacts 1 to 1 2 to 2 etc ?
