Buddy Club VS Tein Flex....Help Me Choose Please
I was running the Progress coilovers and sold those for a set of Mugen N1's..Well I just got a phone call saying the coilovers are "unavailable for another 6 months, we will issue you a credit for your deposit".. I am not waiting 6 months so I have it narrowed down primarily between..
1) Buddy Club- I love what I have heard about these..Build Quality and camber adjustment is what I love.. However, these are on a 5 week backorder:-(
2) Flex- Don't know too much about these, except that I can get a smoking deal..How much neg camber can these adj to?
Price wise it is about the same, so please help me choose..I want a versatile suspension that will let me canyon run, autocross, daily drive or whatever else I come across..

Tein Flex's. You can never go wrong with teins. They are a bit over priced but with ride heighth adjustability, 16 way dampening and the luxury of EDFC you can't really screw that up. and i think those are re-buildable. Buddyclub = new and exciting. Tein = proven. so unless your one of those people who likes to try out new stuff to see how well it works, which sometimes ends up being better, I'd just go with what I knew was good. The flex set on all the way hard are very stiff though. Like rattle your teeth through your skull stiff....
SOMEBODY TRY OUT SOME FREAKIN" OMNI POWER COILOVERS SO WE CAN KNOW IF THEY ARE ANY GOOD.............. please

I've had the Flex's on my POS (02 EP) for over 80K now with at least 15 track weekends, by far the best mod done to the kar as of yet.
P.S. your tie rods ends are what limits your negative camber settings, not the travel in the plates.

ok just ordered the buddy clubs will write a full review when they get here..Feature wise I don't think Flex can hang..Buddy Club steering arm mount is mounted much lower than tein..BC's are negative camber freaks..Tein max goes to -2.5..buddy clubs -4..Tein max lowering 56mm 2.25 inches,..Buddy Clubs -4 inches..Also paid $1400 which is better than $1500 for the flex..Just seemed a more aggresive setup out of the box
you got offered flex's for 1500 shipped? brand new? what a deal.
let us know how you do on the BC, as i am planning to swap my POS D2's for something better this year. best wishes.

if i could do it all over id go with the buddy clubs even though i bought the tein flex....just because of the tie rod end locations are lower on the BC making the tie rod end no issue at all....but thats just me...
do some research see how many people complain about anything with the buddy club i have yet to see any the flex has edfc OOOOOO who cares there really is no need for it...the buddy club is a better design
Just for future reference, punctuation is your friend, so people can better understand you. I had to read that comment a few times to realize you were actually complimenting the BCs
