Default axle busted, how to properly clean rims

what do you guys use to get off axle grease and/or tar from the inner part of the rims ?

some engine degreaser to get the bulk of it off and some simple green to clean it all off..

Whats most important is what finish your wheels have....you don't want to ruin your wheels. Find out what your finish is, then adjust accordingly to the cleaner you use.

i used simple green that **** works great use dust mask or respirator cause that **** gets to you.
