For those of you who have built cages (or are building cages), what are you guys paying for chromoly? How many feet are you guys using for your cages? I'm going to be build a cage soon and am wondering how much I should leave in my budget.

The last cr-moly cage I built was for a mkIII Supra, I bought 5 22ft. sticks
of tubing. Including waste pieces I used it all. This was a 10pt. cage.
I'll try to scan some pics.
I think it was about $7-8/ft at the time, plus shipping by truck, $100.

But the question overall....where did you get it from? Does Home depot sell some? I'm interested in purchasing pipes for my project car that I just bought.

 

**** no .. home depot .. they sell conduit .. make a roll bar outa that **** ..lol ..

ok ok .. ill give up a grate online source for all types of alloyes . that are more affordable then the fab shops
