what kind of whp goals are you looking for? once you set a goal on how fast/power you want it would be easier for everyone to give you input on your question.

i believe the gsr block is a good choice. But their $$$. From what i hear, The b20 will last if you build it right, and not rev too high. If you can get your hands on a gsr block used that. IMO

TURBO!

with a good tune, you're looking at about 250whp, compared to your 145whp that you have right now.
with stock internal

GSR blcok = high reving + stonger sleeves

B20 block + $$ = the reliability of a GSR block + more power

you should be able to hit high 13's with a b16a2 in a hatch already. Some slicks and good driving and your set....if that doesnt work just give it some juice or turbo

I agree, ive seen b16's turbo on stock internals in low 13's with proper suspension and tires. Of course tuning was immaculate..
I personally am a fan of b16's, people kinda hate and there is better choices that could be made but I love mine, and have loved the one in my ef hatch too. I just put on in my eg and im juiced about that right now..
Turbo b16 with tuning and you will be happy, if your gonna spend money you mine as well build a gsr and go all out, or just leave the b16 and boost it. Its reliable if you can drive and get a good tuner..Thats just my 2cents..nothing wrong with b16s in my book for a daily driver anyways..
