who found the most HP and torque for INTEGRA R ?
I do race with an integra R , and my car has on the dyno 204 HP
and a torque of 183 on the wheels , it has an IFY computer sysyem ( expencive)
and a camshaft made by SCHRICK ( germany) I the pistons are original Honda
as well as the rest of the engine , also it is very stong , even after over RPM
( 12200) the engine was still o.k , only the clutch was broken . also I have a very nice airbox , and a beautifull exhaust.
some picures you can find on my website: http://www.stradasport.nl
see also other links.

I love the improvised tape work to get your sponsor name on ...looks like you had an accident and banged up the passenger side door.

the Schrick cams: do you have their lift and duration @ 1mm valvelift specs ? I have a local dealer (JRP) here in Toronto selling Schrick cams . Obviously not a popular cam for ITRs over here compared to the Japanese and US makes.
what is 183 Newton meters in terms of lb ft of torque?

Zandvoort: that's the old Formula One Dutch GP course!! The best pass attempt ever made in GP history at Zandvoort was when Nelson Piquet in the Brabham turbo BMW tried to take Ayrton Senna at Tarzan...great name for a corner...right at the end of the long straight.
what's it like taking Tarzan on flat out?

Hi Michael, thanks for moving my pics .
give me yr e mail address , and I will send you my figures coming from the dyno.
I know just that my camshaft is made by SCHRICK , done by the specs of the tuner of my car , which is a Belgian compagny , named PSI , he was in EUROPE
making the strongest engines for the DTC championship , and I was lucky to buy
one of his cars. my 1 e race with the Integra I wa by Michal Bleekemolen , becaurse his brakes didnot work !!!, I could cry , as it looked very bad. as we do have 2 races a day , we repaired the door with the tape , and the 2 e race was o.k.
regards
Ben

Zandvoort is a fantastic circuit , not only for Tarzan corner , but also HUNZERUG
SCHEIVLAK , ect ect , it is also nice , as I do live just a few miles away form Zandvoort. and then racing with an Integra gives a great feeling for me.

Thanks for clearing that up, didn't want to say anything, but that kind of torque looked awfully fishy...
.....yeah, but I'm wondering what else this car has? Stock compression? Headgasket? Head work? What size injectors? etc.....?

gotta love race tape. It fixes every body damage you can think of.
and race tape also improves aerodynamics...or is that helicopter tape?
do you guys also run nitrogen in your tires to keep a constant tire pressure despite the tire temps fluctuating during a race?
does Psi have a website or email?
my email is agonist@sympatico.ca
Yeah i know what you mean about race accidents. This past summer I think John was in like 3 accidents through no fault of his own. People diving into the apex when they know they have no room.
John had the pole in Grand Sport class at Mosport (another former F1 track for the Canadian GP) this last summer and he was well on his way to a podium when a guy from another class punted him off...we were crying in the pits as well....so I know how you feel....
here's the car in the pits for post race inspection...notice the left rear 1/4 panel damage....

that's the crewchief Walter (who is supposed to be helping me build my engine in the spring) filling out the paperwork and my friend Ron standing beside the NSX with the team BASF uniform.

Ron and Walter inspecting the car after the race...check out the race tape over the left headlamp from a prior "disagreement" with another Porsche.

John accelerating up the Andretti backstraight at Mosport...before any dents...you don't know how hard it was for me to get this photo.....
cheers
PS Go Jos Verstappen! Is he signing with Arrows or not? No more crashing into BMWs eh?
Spa Francochamps in Belgium...now that's a race driver's track!
Do you think they will ever bring back the Dutch GP to F1?

most HP comes from CAMSHAFT ,and computer , my camshaft can only do about
1500 miles , as it is very agressive, the computer EFI , mapping very important.
then the lengt of exhaust pipes coming from engine. + airbox, + combination.
this PSI people did spend much time, money ect ect to come at this level, after they have finised this work , they ask about US 20.000 for preparing engine and mapping the computer, please understand , that is is very difficult to find HP within
the DTCC regelementation.
also my car has a very good DOC box , this brings a lot due to less friction and faster handling. then we have a camber of 5.5 degree in front and about 4 degree
at rear wheels , wheel are very light ( magnesium) and we use HP braking system.
everywere the rubbers are replaced by uniballs, and we do use the stck datalogging system , with predictable laptimer ect ect .

Everything working with the restroking project (2L)?
If I remember correctly, Lip got more than 240 WHP with his B18C5 with ITBs (individual throttle bodies), Toda spec. C cams, headwork, high compression, and a HiTech drag header.

the 2 litre stroker kit , we gave up more or less, as nobody here in Europe has any experience , and it is very difficult to get some information about how reliable
they are , and as they say max rpm 8500 , this is not o.k for me , as then my topseed, will be too low, now we can reach easily 9000 , besides my tuner is not so happy with the longer stroke, so now we think about upgrading with bigger pistons
( and resleeve) even if we can only have + 100 cc , my tuner wants 83 mm pistons maximum

the tape we use , we call " racetape" ? we cannot use for aero dynamic , as this is forbitten in my class. we donot use other things in the tires , but normal air.
we tried other things . but too difficult in use. and no better result.
Thanks for yr nice pictures, fantastic, NSX look fast , but last summer at Zandvoort , we had an Honda track day , and many rider came , also with their NSX , but to be honnest , they needed about 6 - 7 seconds more each lap then my Integra !!

lip is using 84.5mm pistons with a sleeved block for an effective displacement of
about 2L. Many other people are doing this so reliability seems to be pretty good.
